Yankees in Seattle

We rode the train to Seattle in August

for Emmie and Thane, trains are the best way to travel!

"Take me out to the ball game,

Take me out to the crowd,

Buy me some hot dogs and garlic fries,

(You don't care if I pout, whine, and cry,)

Cause we just root, root root for the the Yankees,

If they can't win it's a shame

for it's one, two, three strikes your out at the old ball game!"

BOO to the Yankees! Spencer: what true (and respectful) Californian who lives near a few other major league teams is a Yankees fan. I had no idea; if I had known, high school rallies may have never known us (and perhaps that would have been better! ha ha!) You now sit in a small box category with Kent Fairbourn (Lakers fan) of Sacramento people I think are awesome but have a small (but really BIG) sports flaw! :o)

Woah Chelsy! You should know he wore his Giants jersey to the game with another Giants shirt underneath! We went to the game to meet up with my sister and her in-law outlaws who are die-hard Yankee fans. Spencer has never passed on to the dark side. He proudly cheers for the Giants, A's and anybody but the Yankees. Have no fear...he still has his hometown allegiance even if he married a Yankee. He also despises the Lakers, as do I , and still has hope for the Kings...which is miraculous considering their last two seasons were...ugly at best.

ha ha! I stand corrected. With his jacket on and the black hat, I just assumed he was there for the Yankees. I now, instead, have a new found respect for him for wearing his Giants stuff to the game when they weren't even on the field. When I attend Jazz games with my Utahan husband, I wear something Kings even if the Kings aren't playing! :o) It's been a tough few years with them...but I'm standing strong!

My apologies Spencer! :o)
