Snuggling and tickling my kids!
Without fail Emma asks daily,
"Mommy will you please snuggle me, hug me, kiss me and check on me?"
I reassure her that I will as always.
"and, Mommy?"
"Yes, Emma"
"Momma, will you, um, leave the door open a little bit so the light can come in?"
"Yes, dear."
"Mommy, I need to go potty."
and we repeat the conversation.
I love asking Emmie about her favorite part of the day before she goes to bed. I do love to check on the kids when they are sleeping...nothing so peaceful and lovable as a sleeping child.
