Campbell Clan 2011 in a quick review...

Spencer graduated from his pediatric dental residency at OHSU!!!!  Hooray!
(whoop whoop!) July 24, 2011 Spencer started his first full time job in Salem, OR.  He  tried the commute from Portland to Salem and decided he wanted  to have a life, so we moved to Salem in November .  He is looking forward to more golf, more time with the family, more  sleep and more outdoor time than the last  6 years of school have permitted.

March 29, 2011 Owen Lloyd Campbell came to our family and we shifted to the zone defense.  Owen is a beautiful, bright boy with a huge and still toothless grin. He is a drooling, and almost walking, bundle of joy!

Thane turned three in September and keeps us laughing. He is a tender and energetic boy with lots of love and hugs for everyone.  His deep voice and blonde curls always charm, and his love for monster trucks, life, making forts, learning and being a helper continue to make him a wonderful boy.

Our Emmalicious is 5 and our little Rapunzel.  She started kindergarten in Portland on September 7th and absolutely LOVED it. Moving during the school year to Salem has been challenging but she is still loving learning, making friends, and reading everything.  She is a compassionate, and helpful big sister that we adore.

Saralyn enjoyed visits from many sisters and friends during the months after Owen’s birth, which was a huge help to her recovery.  She is delighted to have retired from working just before Thanksgiving and looks forward to completing some projects or maybe just getting some more sleep.  She loves the idea of no job except the ones she loves—raising 3 children and being a wife, sister and daughter.

As a family we traveled to NYC for a dental convention and a week-long visit to Grampa’s house –first time since we started dental school that we could all go together!   We enjoyed some fun weekend trips this summer camping and hiking in Oregon and collecting berries with family and friends.    Saralyn was able to go to NY for her Father’s 75th birthday celebration with all of her sisters and cousin Carol.   We also loved being part of Chris and Stephanie’s wedding this October and feel the love grow as our family increases.

We are so grateful for this season and for the hope that Our Savior’s life and teachings bring us. We are grateful that we have you, our family & friends to enjoy life  with while making memories through the coming year.
We count you as our biggest blessings.!
We look forward to a new year and hope yours is merry and bright!

Much love,
The Campbell’s
