He is learning more signs to tell us what he wants, but much of the time he is still screeching and kind of singing in high tones. Just in the last three days he has taken a lot more steps and is finding his balance really well. He will be running soon...then the real adventures begin!
Gratefully, Emmie is highly motivated by her chart and smiley faces. She has learned to make her bed and is working on doing things without whining or without being asked. She has been very helpful lately and has gone above and beyond her chart--helping with laundry, dinner, setting the table all by herself, and asking me to wait for her so she can help me do the dishes, put away groceries, etc. This morning she even unloaded the entire dishwasher for me while I fed Thane his first bottle. (She gets extra stickers and recognition for helping with things that she isn't asked to do.) For now it is working and we are enjoying the learning as we go.
Playing with Kyra our neighbor friend when it hit 100+ here. We filled up the sand box frog with water instead.
Tickling TD is one of our favorite family past times. His laugh is so contagious.

What a huge giggle box! That is so cute!
Why don't you have Emmie-the-Helper make dinner and you go take a nap? :)
I think she would love the chance to be alone in the kitchen...I am just not ready to let go that much to my 3 year-old!
