There's no place like home.

Last year we dressed up in a theme as a family so we continued the idea this year and were characters from The Wizard of Oz for our church Halloween party. We had a good time getting ready and putting together our costumes. (Thanks again to Nana for sewing help with Emma's dress!)
Thane loved being the lion as growling and roaring are his forte-- (he just didn't love the pictures.) He loved chasing his tail. We were laughing so hard we cried because Thane was crawling everywhere trying to capture his tail. Too funny.

We spent Halloween with family celebrating Chris's birthday.

Apparently Spencer was bored...

The amazing Nana and Papa hosted a spooky good time!

Happy Birthday to the beloved old geezer Uncle Topher! He scared Thane pretty bad with his fake wrinkly face, magnifying glasses and short tight clothes . He really pulls off 70 pretty well.

This is the yummy birthday cake Steph created for Toph.

And of course the food and punch created by Nana. She made all kinds of fun for us!

Yummy treats

Mummy pizzas

mummy dogs

Nana made pumpkin shaped bread bowls even--they were so pretty and so tasty!

We had a really fun time last week. We love Uncle Topher and love spending time celebrating him on his day. The Halloween part was fun too-dressing up and being goofy. Thanks for your hard work Mom and Dad.
