I love November. I love the leaves, I love the time to think about life and recognize all the good in each day. I love trying to teach an attitude of gratitude as the prophet has asked us to do because it really makes life a little simpler and a lot happier when we are grateful.
This year instead of a huge sheet of butcher paper to write our thankfuls on,my wonderful husband created a kid's life size tree. Each night we put leaves on the tree for at least one thing for which we are grateful.
The tree looks a lot like something out of Dr. Suess's Whoville, because Emma and I cut the leaves...
We look forward to more days and more ways to be grateful for all that we already have and all that we enjoy from our Heavenly Father.

Great idea, and it looks terrific! I am thankful for all of your beautiful family.
You kids are so grown up. Wow! I can't believe how long its been since we've seen you all! I hope all is well. I'm sorry we don't communicate more often. I am trying to get better at this. Anyway, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope we can bump into you again some day!
