This year we were alone for Thanksgiving as Thane came down with pink eye on Tuesday and we were still contagious. Thane enjoyed dinner as he had started feeling better with his medications for pink eye and his double ear infection. Thane's favorite food was the cranberry relish...because everything is better with a bit of berries and sugar. Emma's favorite was...well, the Martinelli's sparkling cider. Yup. These days she tells me before dinner starts everything about that dinner that she doesn't like and what she wants to eat instead.
(She knows she gets to eat what she is served and still persists in proving how much she doesn't want to like most foods. She isn't 4 yet.)
Spence told her that on Thanksgiving she could only say nice things about what was for dinner or lunch, that seemed to help because she has been excited about what it means to "be thankful". We are still a work in progress.

NNOOOOOOOOOOO! Not the pink eye. I am SO sorry. I finally got it a couple of days ago. That thing is relentless. I am SO SORRY!!!!!! and on Thanksgiving. SO SORRY!!!!! It looks like you guys had fun anyhow. xoxooxx.

Sorry to hear Thane was so sick. Poor little guy. Your daughter is so funny and bright. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
