Sunshine in Montana

Sunrise

Family room

Kitchen

Solarium

NY Yankee colors and insignia are almost everywhere
in the upstairs kids rooms' and bathroom. No one is surprised right?!

Walk-in fridge in the kitchen. Yes, fridge. Anyone who knows Karyn knows that every time she cooks it is for everyone she knows and maybe for those she doesn't yet know.

A favorite from our house growing up--the laundry chute.

This round wall is the Lego room still waiting to be finished
in the basement. All three boys are SO excited for this one to be done.

The basement with the massive fireplace.

The staining station in the basement for the wood trim for windows, door frames, baseboards, and ceiling of the solarium.

The study/library still to be finished with shelving and window frames.

The master bedroom has his and hers walk-ins.

The front entry wall is directly across from the front door
and the kitchen is behind this wall.

The front door with organic wheat on the glass.

The massive garage AKA workbench for making shelves and cabinets. I got to use the router again..it has been a long time.

Auntie Karyn & Uncle Andre and Thane

Master bathroom shower

The double sink vanity and garden tub are also lovely, just not pictured.

The paint color we changed...no more sea foam green. Karyn has painted the entire house and trim herself. Believe me, that was a tremendous undertaking just thinking about wall space, nevermind the second coats of paint.

My happy helper was constantly sweeping the floors or at least carrying the broom like he wanted to help.

Another gorgeous sunset right outside the front door.
The grain elevator in the distance looks so small compared to the sky...that is how all of Montana looks to me...so WIDE OPEN! I love seeing the sunrise and sunsets from practically everywhere in the house.

I went to help with the house move but there is still so much to be done. Karyn and Andre are some of the hardest working people I know and their hands are still full. (When are they not crazy busy serving?!) Anyhow, the house looks beautiful inside and out. It felt good to try to give a little bit of time to my sister (and her family), that has always given so much to me...I know I will always be in debt to their continued love, kindness and care. Family is such a tremendous blessing!
Emma had the long weekend to spend with her Nana, Papa and Daddy. She had a wonderful time but did say she didn't want anymore sleep overs because she wanted me to come home. Thank you for helping me help others and supporting me through it.
It feels good to be home again.

Great pictures, Sara. Love all that wood! It's really taking shape! I'm know K&A were glad to have your help (and Thane's).

Wow, that is some great progress! It is really neat to see how the shower looks after imagining it when only the framework was there. Everything looks beautiful!
