Emmie and TD both LOVE the song "Wheels on the Bus"...we sing it every Monday night for Family night and sometimes during the week too.
Emmie has asked me a few times when we can ride on a bus, so a few weeks ago we decided to try taking the bus to Nana & Papa's house. Riding the bus for an hour was a people watching adventure. Emmie loved that she could change seats every time the bus stopped. Literally. Thane was happy just eating fishies and flirting with anyone who would look at him. The kids did great not staring too much, and being patient when we needed to walk in the hot sun to where we thought we were going to get off. (Unknown bus transfers and re-routes). Thanks to Papa we got a short ride from the high school to the comfort of their home.
Emmie loves mass transit...the tram, the maxx, the streetcar, the plane and the bus are all as exciting as any destination spot could be....she often asks me if we can ride on one of them. Emmie reminded me again that life is fun during the journey and not just the destination.

that's one of afton's favorites too. she and daddy frequently go on bus or "train" rides. fortunately, he's got a free pass from school,a nd she and rayna can ride with him on it just for fun whenever they want :)
