"loving" the adventure
We had a memorable weekend with our friends! Amy and Scott invited us to come along with them to the bay on the Oregon Coast to camp and then go crabbing. We had terrific weather for Oregon (just a light sprinkle of rain) and our loud and happy kids. We loved the campfire and making "smarshmellow smores". We loved going out into Nehalem Bay the morning after and catching crabs! Emmie, Lizzy and Andrew loved touching the crabs and helping measure them to make sure the males were big enough to keep.
I am so glad my husband didn't want to be a fisherman or a crabber for the rest of his life...risky and hard business...no wonder crab is so expensive! I have new found respect for those that make their living as fishermen... Maybe that is part of why our ancestors left Scotland for America.
(Try reclining to watch the video. Once again I turned the camera on it's side to get more of a view of the action and videoed the action on it's side.)

It looks so cold! And Amy doesn't look pregnant at all.
I'm somewhat jealous but mostly happy for your fun trip.
