"Quiet Time" for Emmie

Emma insists she isn't tired. She isn't sleepy at all, and doesn't need a nap.
Instead of naps now we do quiet time. It is supposed to be quiet resting on a bed or cushions looking at books or listening to soothing music and I put the timer on for an hour. Often, however, the "quiet time" becomes so much more...it is fort building, potty breaks every 10 minutes, outfit changing, dancing, etc. At least once a week I catch her playing in daddy's papers, bending earrings of mine, or trying on my shoes since her quiet time is always in our room (we have two bedrooms and Thane takes his nap solo).
Just a few days ago though, Emma ventured to new venues for her quiet time.

She started out here "reading books"...

then she moved here... "reading books"

and made her final bed here.

This is a storage box she took out of our closet. She stuffed a full size pillow on the bottom and two blankets and then
fell asleep inside.
Finally.
I don't know how it could be comfortable but she was in a coma-like state...

Never dull. Never boring. Gotta love her.

What a sweetie pie. I hope she had a good rest. I wish I had a cozy box for quiet reading and sleeping...
