8 months old, 8 Thane loves

Thane LOVES being outside...no matter how tired he is he will stay awake and take it all in.

Thane still LOVES Emma best, laughing at anything she does or says. Emma's her favorite things to say to him are "potty" words that "we use in the bathroom"...perhaps they are so HILARIOUS to him because they are SO hysterical to her?!

TD LOVES to crawl and do all things physical. He makes a mad dash for the bathroom anytime the door is opened. He is trying to pull himself up on people, furniture, and toys though he is a little wiggly still. Just last night he came over while I was doing dishes and hung on the side of the dishwasher pulling himself up and lowering himself--doing infant chin-ups! Crazy strong.
He also LOVES to hold his back and head up straight like in pilates or in a "Varsity V"...he will hold his abs in tight and just sit that way as though he is relaxed when he looks so uncomfortable. I wish he was learning that from me.




He LOVES his Dad!

He LOVES exploring and usually does so with stealth. Recently Emma and I were looking for a ball under the couch. When I came back to the kids' room and looked all over for him...I called out to him and he didn't move or make any sounds. We finally found him under the crib--quietly hanging out under the dust ruffle and totally invisible. I am sure I am in for Trouble when he is older.




Thane also LOVES bath time. When he sees or hears the water filling up he flails his arms and legs desperately trying to get in, then continues his crawl in the tub, splashing and spitting with joy.


He LOVES being sung to and being held but doesn't demand it very often. He is still a snuggler(-Yay!). We love Thane so much!
