A Few Good Men

Papa, is one of our favorite people to be with as he smiles and loves us no matter what.  He loves his grandkids, loves his children, loves his wife, and loves life completely!  He is happy and always great to be around.  Directly correlated, he also has a firm faith in God.  When Emmie and Thane grow up, I hope they can be like Papa.  Thane is already working on his duck call and hugs, and Emmie is already full of smiles and love like her Papa.   We love our Papa!

Grampa/Dad, is full of life lessons, love, and trust in Heavenly Father.  He has become my friend, and has been an example for me through some of the greatest blessings and hardest tests.  He is most comfortable doing something for someone else and is constantly serving-strangers, neighbors, in the temple, the storehouse, on vacation...(yes, he is a workaholic retired...AKA servaholic,).    I hope that Emmie and Thane learn to love and serve like their Grampa, and to be hard workers in all that life will bring.  We love Grampa!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband and loving father of my children!  We love Dadda.  Thank you for being with us and for us, even when we aren't at our best.  We love you.   You are my best friend, my favorite company, and my Love.  I don't need anything else.
I hope that Emmie and Thane will learn to come home happy even when day's work/tests/challenges are hard, because 'we can do hard things' like you.  I hope that they will learn to be honest and have integrity like you.  I hope that they will make time to laugh and to play as they look for ways to better the world they are part of, while loving the family they live in, like you do.

I wouldn't mind one bit if my kids turned out to be like the great men in my life.   I do sincerely thank Heavenly Father daily for their impact on my life-the present, past and future.

I hope you feel loved all year long, and cherished always.
